Never Too Late To Act On Dream
"In his pursuit of the dream, he was being constantly subjected to tests of his persistence and courage. So he could not be hasty, nor impatient. If he pushed forward impulsively, he would fail to see the signs and omens left by God along his path” Paulo Coelho said. The novel Siddhartha and The Alchemist are both talk about how to pursue the dream. Everyone has they own dreams, and these two novels tell us: Don't give up you dreams. Although something frustrated could be happening in the process, but as long as persevered, you will see the dream is not far away. Some people decided to give up because they ever took a shock, but when they became old, they were remember the dream that they ever pursued and began to regret. Two protagonists of the novels both had the similarities among the experience and the opinion of them and they both hoped to find their own treasures. According to the plot, we can found out the similarity between their experiences of journey. Also, there were have some symbol from those two book to reflected protagonist’s inner voice, the state at that time, and society environment.
Siddhartha is describes the process of Siddhartha left home to pursue the meaning of life. At beginning, he discovered that he didn't have inner peace because he was own sense of helplessness for life. In order to find the meaning of life or alive, he decided to ascetic journey to studying, except to be an ascetic, he also worked as a businessman, a gambler, a drunkard, a rich man. After he played those roles, he still cannot find a satisfying answer about life. He ever followed the ascetic life and tries to reached a high level and learned to how to make mood calm and give the wisdom to the soul.
