Uniforms
Uniforms, which are what Schools and jobs, are making people wear. What happen to freedom of wearing whatever one wanted to wear? In a country were the main reason was made for freedom, now schools make you wear uniforms. That is why, I believe that students or adults shouldn’t be forced to wear uniforms to school or work.
Some of the reasons why I believe that students or adults should not be forced to wear uniforms anywhere are because, if students did not have enough money to pay for the uniforms they would not be able to attend to the school and it might be the only nearest school to them. Some adults may not even have enough money to buy the uniform that is why they got the job to earn money, but they would not be able to because they need a uniform.
I will agree that the uniform is a must have if the job is always like handling fire and the uniform is fireproof, or of the students uniform is a safety issue because they may live in a certain area were there might be a lot of gang members and some colors represent them, and if other gang confused them, like a high school kid said on the newspaper article ‘…they might get shot at…’. And also the school or job may have a program to supply their employees or students with the uniforms without them having to pay a single cent.
On the other hand in jobs if they just had like a borrowing uniform not keeping, the employee would not need to buy uniform. Worst of all some school allow you to alter the uniform to fit your style and if that is the case what is the whole point of having the uniform if you can do that with regular clothes.
There are just so many reasons why, especially in schools they should not wear uniforms if it is pointless if in some schools they let you alter it, I mean it is called common sense, REALLY. Thus, that is why uniforms are not such a good idea especially in schools.
