Abstract This article reports the results of a research aimed at investigating the impact of an
ERP system on organizational processes and individual employees in a public sector organization (Italian Regional Council). Through a qualitative method (Focus Groups - FG) interesting results have come out: system introduction planning, organizational and technical aspects
seem to be relevant issues to be addressed in order to improve ERP system’s effectiveness.
Through a structured questionnaire, a larger sample of employees will be involved in the second phase, aimed at testing the constructs which emerged with the FG analysis and the relationships among them.
Résumé Cet article présente les résultats d'une recherche visant à étudier l'impact d'un système ERP sur les processus organisationnels et les employés dans une organisation du secteur
public (Conseil Régional Italien). Grâce à une méthode qualitative (groupes de discussion FG) des résultats intéressants sont sortis: planification d’introduction du système, aspects
techniques et organisationnels semblent être les questions appropriées à être adressé pour
améliorer l'efficacité du système ERP. Grâce à un questionnaire structuré, un échantillon plus
large d'employés sera impliqués dans la deuxième phase, visant à tester les concepts qui ont
émergé avec l'analyse FG et les relations entre eux.
