Nutrition Plan

I plan on increasing my calories intake to 3500 calories a day. I will need to eat the following: Vegetables- 8 servings a day Fruit- 10 servings a day Milk- 10 to 12 servings a day Meat and Beans- 10 servings a day Fats- 4 servings a day My anemia has caused my meat intake to highly increase. I don’t much care to eat too much meat or beans but, to help manage my anemia I know that increasing my meat and bean intake is necessary. I have chosen to breastfeed because, it is very important that a mother breastfeed if it is possible. Breastfeeding also promotes weight loss once you deliver your baby and because of all the calories used to breastfeed, it is necessary to increase the amount of calories that I intake. I plan on implementing an exercise routine once I deliver the baby. In the beginning of my pregnancy (before I was put on bed rest) I was walking about 2 miles a day and taking my children to the park. I started taking a swimming lesson to help relax me and because it burns a lot of calories. My husband bought me a membership for our local gym so I can take full advantage of it once I deliver the baby. I plan on continuing my walking 2 miles a day. I plan to implement one hour of stair climbing, 30 minutes of swimming, and I plan to sign up for mixed martial arts classes. My daughter has expressed her interest in mixed martial arts classes and I know that they are offered to both children and adults and I plan to join. My husband has said they will help me burn a major amount of calories because he is currently taking the courses at our local gym. I plan on measuring my success of my nutrition plan by how much weight I am losing and how my body is getting firmed. My goal is to lose about ninety to one hundred pounds and to firm up my stomach, thighs, and arms. I want to lose all the weight that I have gained in pregnancy and then some. I want to weigh what is normal for my height and to do that I will have to lose about ninety to one hundred...
