“Oedipus Movie Review”

After watching the film on Oedipus I think I was impressed with the film over all. The director did a great job with capturing all the key moments that really stuck out in the story. I think the movie definitely did a great job on showing the townspeople’s reactions to all the events of the tragedy. When we read the book it wasn’t as good with the chorus part because when you see a group of people getting all riled up after Oedipus’s secret is revealed it adds more drama to the story. When I ready the story I envisioned an old man almost being forced with no choice but to tell Oedipus the truth because of the pain he was dealing with. After seeing the scene in the movie it kind of seemed like that the old man was just threatened and confessed the awful secret he was...
