Of Mice and Men Essay: Compare and Contrast

Lennie’s puppy and Curley’s Wife were both killed by Lennie. Lennie incredible also resulted in their deaths. Lennie didn’t know how hard he was stroking the pet. In addition, Lennie was scared of getting in trouble by George. The pressure resulted in him not knowing from right to wrong.
The deaths of Lennie’s’ puppy and Curley’s Wife were similar. For instance, he killed both of them by accident. Also, he was emotionally connected with both, he loved his puppy, and infatuated by Curley’s Wife. In addition, they both died due to Lennie’s fascination with soft things. Plus, Lennie didn’t want to get in trouble which also is accounted for their deaths. Lennie was also very upset after killing them both.
Lennie’s’ puppy and Curley’s Wife deaths were different. For instance, Lennie killed the dog by petting it too hard. Curley’s Wife died because Lennie was trying to stop Curley’s Wife. Lennie should be held accountable because a puppy is replaceable but Curley’s Wife is unreplacable and was important to Curley. The punishment should have resulted in death because Lennie could kill someone else.
Therefore, Lennie didn’t mean to kill them. Lennie’s’ puppy died by Lennie petting him too hard. Curley’s Wife died because he was trying to stop Curley’s Wife and he didn’t want to get in trouble by George. The Death of the puppy could have been replaceable but somebody wife is not replaceable. Lennie should have resulted in death because it’s not the first time. For example, Lennie was touching some girl red dress and she proclaimed rape so Lennie and George had to leave Weed. So odds are that Lennie would do it again because he likes touching soft things.
