In 1983, after the trip to Italia, Schultz determined the original vision for Starbucks which was serving fresh brewed coffee, espressos, and cappuccinos in its stories (in addition to beans and coffee equipment) and trying to create an American version of the Italian coffee bar culture and it changed three times. To pursue vision, Schultz launched plans and strategies that were sustainable and different in comparation with other companies, which makes Starbucks strive and become one of the most famous, unique, as well as largest international coffeehouse chain in the world. Those strategies include expanding market, product offerings and entering new market segments, training employees to create a great place to work, purchasing sources and following social responsibility. They are set with the evolvement of vision in an efficient way in different periods so operating activities are effective.
