Anne Frank

On June 12, 1929, a girl was born in Frankfurt, Germany. No one realized that this girl was destined to become one of the world's most famous victims of World War II. Her name was Anne Frank. She herself might not have lived to become the writer she was destined to be, but her writing will last the test of time.
I had to read the Diary of Anne Frank for another class, and was required to read other reviews of the book. Many people had surprisingly talked about how the book was so poorly written. It actually made my angry because those people do not seem to understand what the writing is about. The writing was not supposed to good, it was supposed to be realistic. Anne Franks story was a portrayal of the horrific truths that happened, the book personalizes you with the little girl that went through something that no human being so have to go through.
I have been through years of learning about WWII and yet after reading the book I wanted to go online and learn more and more about it. The Diary of Anne Frank has a way of making more interesting in a subject that I do not feel I could know more about. It peeks your interest and keeps you asking for more.
Anne Frank is one of the most interesting people I have ever learned about. Throughout one of the most depressing times in the world, she was an optimist. She had a way of looking and the bad and turning it into the good. She managed to find light in the darkest of hours.
I would recommend this book to anyone! It is good fro research, or just some light reading. This book not only talks about the war, but it tells the story of a little girl that was forced to grow up way faster than she should have. You see a girl that has a way to sparkle up a dark room, and it never goes away. I hope everyone at one point or another reads the book, for it will enlighten and change your view points on many things.
