Mexican Young Adults
All over the world, the young adult percentage is increasing daily. But the problems that they confront daily are also rising. One of the generalities most noted about Mexican adolescents is that they say they want to become a doctor, yet they don’t want to go to college. They want to be independent, yet they’re living in their parents homes. A generation who practices safe sex, yet they don’t use condom’s. Despite the fact, that young adults are a more prepared generation in history, they face many problems: unemployment, lack of experience, accidents and migration.
Event though, young adults have more studies than those that had their parents, there is three times the rate of employment. They relate better with technology than adults, yet they are still closing the doors because they have no working experience. They are more prepared, but it is difficult for them to remain independent and they remain with their parents until adult ages. They are the sector of population sector of the population who never gets sick, but are facing high-risk situations such as: accidents, addiction, sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies. They are best adapted to the changes and because of that the rate of migration inflates year-over-year. This is the major contradictions between the world of the young adult and the old adult world.
Every year, millions of young adults look for jobs in a country where 300 thousands of market squares are generated every year. The first and most obvious paradox is that this is about a new generation that is more prepared and more educated, but it is also a generation that has a lower access to productive employment.
During this period of time, a devaluation of education exists because there is so much to offer to so little demand. The companies are seeking young adults that are specialized in any field, which wraps up in a vicious circle, as there are many with bachelor, but very few specialized....
