Children and Role Models
If I had the opportunity to conduct a study I would conduct my study on children and how their role models influence their persona. Conducting this research I would hope to find how much our roles as parents influence our children’s behavior, personality, and visualization of what they would like to replicate once they’re adults. I believe personally it would allow me to see the possible outcomes if my children will grow up to be like me. At a professional level I believe this study will help me have a better understanding of a delinquent child and see where the root of the problem began and if the parents have an impact in the situation. And also allow parents, therapist ext. to see the perspective of where the child is coming from and also see what has impacted their life that has made them act or be a certain way. This could answer many questions.
A research question is the methodological point of departure of scholarly research in both the natural and social sciences. My research question is how parents or any child’s considerable role model influence their persona and way of being. A hypothesis is a specific testable prediction about what you expect to happen in your study. My hypothesis is that a great amount of children will turn out to be exactly if not somewhat alike as their role models. This is my assumption because I believe I turned out to be like my role model and I think it has a major impact on oneself.
The research methodology I would conduct is the observation research design. What I like about this method is that I have the chance to gather a lot of information by conducting interviews, questionnaires, and psychological tests.
