This learning pack covers the functionalist perspective. I teach this quite formally as it is a difficult topic for the students to deal with independently. That means me at the front, with the pack projected on the board, leading the students and encouraging discussion. The students have their own copy, which they complete as we go along. The blank boxes are where discussion points get recorded or where students are asked to provide examples then feedback to the group.
