People Watching

Now I know what you're thinking. It sounds kinda creepy. But people watching is something that you can actually learn from. Some classes either in high school or college will actually have this as an assignment. Watching people is an interesting way of spending time. It's something that can be done virtually anywhere. You could be at the mall, the park, a restaurant, or a bar and you will notice that individual actions can speak louder than words. The human being is definitely a work of art. One of the few times that I have people watched, me and my boyfriend went to a bar/restaurant where they were showing a UFC fight. When we got there, it was pretty packed so we had to stand up since almost everybody in town wanted to see this fight. Little did I know that I had the perfect opportunity to people watch. Drinking, shouting, and laughing were heard throughout the whole place. There was an old couple that was near us that were enjoying the fight just as much as everybody else. Of course at first we thought that they were going to leave as soon as the fights started because they get pretty loud. But to our astonishment they stayed. There was a guy with his buddies right in front of us that had a Mexico shirt and Chihuahuas cap on. A group of girls that were dressed up nicely and in high heels had passed by us to claim a table that was reserved. Just by being there for 30 minutes, you realize how different people are when they are in public. Simply watching people go about their days in a public place, like Walmart or Target, is fascinating. Black Friday is not a legitimate holiday, but with how it is celebrated in America, it might as well be. This day is known as the day after Thanksgiving where thousands of stores mark their prices down, and it is also known as "Crazy" People Day. Everybody wants to score a good deal, right? Of course, but people across the country go nuts for this date. Most people would never dream of behaving like they do on Black Friday but...
