Nothing is difficult if you put your heart on it. Nothing is easy if you don’t try your best. We often hear people say, “Never give up.” This can be encouraging words and words of determination. A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.
We all know there is an old saying, “No pains, No gains.” I think everyone’s experience can prove it, including me. When I was a primary school student, I was interested in so many different things. So I took lots of lessons in my free time. I have learnt piano, guitar and so on . At first, I thought they were amazing, because we can play wonderful music with those music instruments. But after I had three or four lessons, I changed my attitude. They were too boring and need so much practicing. Although my mother told me “No pains, No gains.” almost three times a day, I dropped my piano lesson two years later. But how interesting, I watched a show of popular music these days , and I saw a friend of mine there. Actually, she was my classmate who learned piano with me at that time. She told me that she had been kept on learning the piano for another two years until now and what is more, she had made great progress in piano playing.
I really envy her, and I also regretted for myself. But in that time, only thing I know is Regretted and envy. Until my mom tell me this true story: The 65-year-old man who name is Colonel Saunders from Kentucky had a dream to start a chain of fried chicken restaurants all over the world. To realize his dream, he knew that he needed a restaurant owner to go into partnership with him to open the first restaurant and to fry chicken according to the secret recipe he had.
