The Treaty Of Versailles.
1. Imagine you are a German solider who would have held his own opinion about the Treaty.
Well, well, well. The treaty of Versailles, what a complete and utter screw up to say the least. How do I start with this.. First off, that treaty basically ruined my family life. I was to be in the army my whole working life, then all of a sudden, the treaty of Versailles powers bloody chuck all us solider boys out. Only a few stayed and I wasn‘t one of em‘. But when I left for the army, my family and I, we said our goodbyes, accepted that we were going to be separated by long distance for a very long while. I wasn’t going to be capable of providing for them, so I left them to it and they moved away. Heidi, my wife, Celleste, Peter and Chelsea the three kids. Basically eliminated from my life. Very hard to deal with, and god knows where they are now, hopefully they got outta here before this ugly depression thing started who know s how long it‘ll last now - But yeah Sure, I can find some contact info to find my family now days, but we planned our future out according to the fact we’d be apart, they’ll be getting on with it by now. I ain’t gonna worry about finding them. Anyways, Germany, the economy here is shot now cause of that Versailles treaty. From what I know, it‘s forcing us to pay millions and millions for war debts, dunno if we‘ll be able to cope. After the war we’re already pretty hard up for cash. The French seem to be so scared, almost paranoid that we Germans are all gonna suddenly grow guns out our butts and tanks out our ears and out of the blue declare war and invade them again - for god’s sake they’ve taken everything, we‘re no threat to them anymore and they‘ve done enough! We went from having the biggest army known to now having No navy no army no military no nothing to defend ourselves - it’s kinda scary when you think about it…I mean what if the other countries just decide to hate on us a little more? If...
