Factors associated with people conforming to group norms
The likelyhood of people confriming this increases as group size increases. If a group increases till 4 and then it levels off.
More cohesive groups( groups with shared values) tend to produce more conformity than lecture halls do
Social status of individuals increases the likelyhood of conformity. People who are discriminated against conform more than those wheo have higher statues
We have societys are highly individualistic and more collective where you give up for the group.
The likelyhood of conformity is higher in collevtive societies
