Politial Parties

Politial Parties

The way our countries political parties are set up is both good and bad, but the bad parts need to be fixed and we need to help to fix them no matter what party we are in. Because if we don’t our country could cease to exist as we know it.
The setup of political parties is good because not everyone has the same ideas. So having groups of people with similar ideas working together helps prevent arguing. Each party is set up based of off their specific views. The republican party includes fiscal conservatives, social conservatives, neoconservatives, moderates, and libertarians. They emphasize the role of free markets and individual achievement as the primary factors behind economic prosperity. While the democrat party has favored "liberal" positions. They advocate more social freedoms, affirmative action, balanced budget, and a free enterprise system tempered by government intervention. The parties must work together within the large government and vote to determine whose ideas laws and other things are based off of.
There are also many things wrong with both parties. Right now the republicans do not control a very large portion of the places in government. They cannot hope to regain a larger portion unless and until they cease to be a force of anti-modernism. The democrats control the larger portion of the government, but they also need to rethink some of their ideas (now this may sound bias because I’m a very strong republican but I’ll to make it as fair as I can.) I think their main problem is Obama. He wants us to have universal health care, and he wants to give more money to people that don’t have it. My problem with that is that there are some people that truly need the money because they can’t work for some reason, but they have to give up some of the money they could be getting because there are people who are just to lazy to get a job so they get the money.
Each of the parties has some good ideas and some horrible ones....
