America had every right to nuke Nagasaki and Hiroshima. During world war 2 america nuked japan to put an end to second world war after nazi Germany’s surrender to the allies. The topic I will be writing is if the course action America took was right and if it did successfully end the war with less fatalities. My stance on the topic as I mentioned above is America had every right to nuke Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
The americans had every right to nuke japan despite the devastating explosion that caused, injuries and deaths. Although it might a bit pelculiar that America had the right to devastate japan it was the right thing to do because they could have tried an invasion that would have left japan devastated even more this is because of the amount of deaths it would of caused and the amount of soldiers that would have been loss and would have significantly weakened the American army. The reason why there would have been a long occupation was because of japans never die give up attitude they would fight for almost every inch of land they could get. The loss of American soldiers and the loss of lives would have dented the American army and would have ruined japan for many years that is why the bomb was a quicker less devastating option.

Another reason why America made the right call was because they showed the world the kind of technology they had in there arsenal and this is one of the reasons why japan surrended. The Americans sent a clear message to japan to surrender because the Japanese had no idea how many more bombs the americans had and how many more cities they targeted to destroy despite of their never die attitude. The Japanese were forced to surrender and they very quickly rebuilt Hiroshima and Nagasaki and brought an end to a blood thirsty war and saved many lives in doing so.

An opposing argument may be that the Americans didn’t have to bomb two cities and could have bombed just the one. The reason why the Americans bombed more than one...
