  Sex is a hot topic in society today. This may be why teenagers are inundated with sexually related material on a daily basis. Today’s teenagers live in a sexualized world that presents them with some very complex and often adults issues. Teens are spending more time indoors enjoying the technological advancements of a fast paced society. Gone are the days of outdoor recreational activity or just hanging outside with friends. Sex is prevalent in movies, television and the radio. It is read about daily in the newspaper, magazines and books. Teens are cruising the Internet which privilege the, with never topics never before imagined. Young women are having babies earlier, much earlier, than 20 years ago.
 Pregnant teenagers have been the focus of public debate over the past several years. The United States has a higher teen pregnancy rate than other comparable countries, because the population of the United States consists of many diverse ethnic groups and cultures. Teenager pregnancy has become normal in our society, teenager mothers are still very much discriminated again falsely stereotyped as, high school drops outs, and promiscuous. Teen pregnancy is a major public health problem in many countries. Most unmarried teens do not plan on becoming pregnant, and they are often terrified when it happens. Particularly younger teens, keep the news of their pregnancies secret, because they fear the anger and disappointment of their parents.
