In this article written by Nancy Armour, USA TODAY Sports, the visit of Russian President, Vladimier Putin to the U.S. Olympic Committee’s headquarters is covered. The article covers what was spoken about upon his visit and outlines despite the rumors and constant badmouthing of Russia by the U.S. reporters, he was there to make sure everyone was happy and enjoying their visit to their Country. Despite the U.S. President Obama’s lack of respect, Russian President Putin put his best foot forward and welcomed the U.S. team to Sochi, Russia.
Unlike most articles printed about the Olympics in Sochi, Russia I find this article to be the least biased of all the articles reported since the beginning of the Olympics. Reporting the true actions and candor of the Russian President Putin and highlighting true and accurate details of the U.S. Teams response to his arrival at headquarters. In fact I stand to think that she probably caught a little flak for the article being that so many others are reporting on Sochi, Russia and the Olympics in a crucially negative light since before the Olympic Games even began. Most reporters writing on President Obama’s embarrassing non-involvement in the opening...
