Brenda Liz Perez Quantitative Reasoning By taking Quantitative Reasoning for Business Overview course, I will be able to understand better other courses like economics, accounting, finance, operations, and research because it will help me develop my analytical skills and apply the knowledge I obtain in solving problems. By studying Quantitative Reasoning, one should be able to interpret mathematical models such as formulas, graphs, tables, and schematics, and draw inferences from them. By understanding and being able to interpret these things I will understand how real-world problems and social issues can be analyzed using mathematical and statistical skills. I will also be able to identify alternatives and select optimal results. The Quantitative Reasoning for Business Overview course is really helpful in my Master’s degree because it will prepare me, not only for other courses like the ones mentioned before, but also for real life problems I will be encountering during my career. Quantitative Reasoning will not only help us with our other courses, but it will also help us resolve everyday situations. This course prepares us to master a large variety of skills like, explaining basic probability concepts, solving simultaneous equations algebraically, apply the rules for order of operations in solving problems, etc. Overall, Quantitative Reasoning for Business course is one of the most important courses in our Master’s degree since it’s the base for the most important class of our studies. And also because it is a topic we will be using the most part of our career, if we want to pursue the Management branch of Business administration.
