Quarantine
Prologue
It had been almost 2 months since the plague had begun and now it had spread through out Savage city. Since the plague had started you could not even go outside without being attacked by mindless cannibals, that the city had named the Reapers. The plague had turned them into heartless zombies that could feel no pain.
The Reapers were disgusting things with pure white eyes, hundreds of sharp teeth, and had 1 long talon on each hand instead of fingers. The plague was spreading fast and the city had to be quarantined. They put up tall razor wire fences and turrets all around the city. Hundreds of innocent people were left to die.
The plague was terrible. Me and my friend Nick were at the lab where the plague had started, they wanted to use the plague for war and had kidnapped nick and I to test the compound on. They had tested the plague on hundreds of thousands of people and out of those people nick and I were the only ones who survived. The plague had made us stronger, and given us amazing powers, powers that we had no idea we had.

Two months ago Nick and I were stuck in our stone prisons waiting to be tested on like lab rats. We had no idea what would happen that day. The scientists had just taken Nick and I out of our cells to go and get our dosage of whatever crap the scientists had just brewed up. One of the scientists tripped and knocked over the small sphere that contained what we now know is the plague. Nick and I took the chance to escape and that is how this all began.
Nick and I lived on the streets; we made a secret underground hideout in order to survive with all the reapers around. We were able to get some canned food from a run down Wal-Mart nearby. But we rarely even went outside in fear of being eaten alive. We could hear the screams of people outside our bunker being chased by reapers. Life in savage city was...
