Random Acts of Kindness, My experience
* On my way to work on a dreary rainy day I stopped at a local gas station for gas I noticed an elderly man changing the tire on a car of a young man who was sitting in the car talking on the phone. When the elderly man was done he placed the flat tire in the trunk and told the young man to have a nice day and returned to his truck and drove away. I heard the young man laughing while telling his friend about the stupid elderly man that changed his tire and he didn’t have to get out in the rain. At launch time a co-worker and I had gone to a local restaurant together and as we were waiting I saw the same elderly man helping a couple to start their car in the parking lot. A few weeks later my boy-friend and I were shopping at the local Wal-Mart, when my car wouldn’t start when we came out my boy-friend being a mister-fixe-it (not) he opened the hood for some reason, while he was looking at something under the hood at something he knew nothing about, I noticed the same elderly man helping a young man load plywood into the bed of his truck. After they were done the young man got into his truck and drove away without so much of a thank you. The elderly man got in his truck and started to drive away when he noticed my boy-friend with the hood up. He turned around and pulled up in front of our car and asked if he could help.
