GCS: Moving Forward on its 9th Year!
On the past 9 years, this institution was still here, standing and ready again to build its new timeline. Gerona Catholic School celebrates its 9th foundation day last February 12, 13, and 14 with the attendance of the Administration and Students with their respective Parents. GCS is now a moving institution where it gives each student the Moral Integrity, Spiritual reality and a Satisfying Academic Education that can be used as a guide and weapon of each GCS’ Patrons to their future career.
“We have another message… you can kiss the bride… WANTED: Mga naka-tsinelas! ahOoohHhHh!!” These are just some of the famous line I heard last Foundation Festivity.
As I guess, many changes were formed. One is, the program is in its solo days. Not celebrated with other celebration unlike last year, it was been celebrated together with Intramurals. Celebrating two events in the same time make limited activities. Second, Different Booths were opened. A very nice and good decision made by the administration, because it adds up the enjoyment in the celebration. Third, a controversial so called “BINGO SOCIAL” was played, that made up the program more interesting, where in the past years, bringing just a piece of bingo card or any Bingo materials, will brought yourself into Guidance office. A very unjust rule!
Compared to the past years of my Foundation Experience, I think this is the most exciting and devastating celebration of the Foundation day of the school, because of its’ new atmosphere and blooming ideas, from the decoration of the surroundings up to the remarkable activities and events. Being one of the pleasured students in here, I am fortunate to have among us in our institution the very active and supportive principal, Sis.
