Reading For Fin

It was one boring hot summer break day, when I decided to walk to the library to check out some books to read for fun. I walked for some 20 to 30 minute to reach the library. With the sun burning right above my head, I’d thought I’d never reach the library. But this wasn't my first time walking to the library on a hot burning day so I desperately made my way there.
As I entered the library doors, it felt like heaven. The cool air conditioner and quietness slowly brushed away my red apple checks and bits of sweats I got from the sun.
I calmly rushed to find a comfortable seat to rest and cool off before I began my book hunt. I had no idea what book to read; I just wanted to read an interesting fictional novel to fill in my boring summer break.
After about 5 to 10 minutes of cooling off I stood up from the chair and went to the fictional novel section. I started off looking at the adventurous books. None did I found amusing. Then I went through the romance, mystery, comedy, action, and other subjects. Nothing seemed to catch my eyes.
As I walk out of the fictional novel section, I walked to my right and as I walked further, I saw a sign that said “Anime/Manga”. I notice that this was the section of books that my friend always come to whenever we come to the library together. I did not know what the sign meant, nor did I bother to find out. All I knew was that it contained comic books; which I wasn’t interested in. I just went and sat down at my same spot.
On a table in front of me, I saw a book. It was one of those books from the “Anime/Manga” section that my friend always reads. It made me thought back to what I said to my friend a few days ago. I asked her why she liked such lame and boring looking comic book. She told me they were wonderful but I did not believe her.
I stared at the book on the table in front of me as if we were engaged in a staring contest. And apparently I lost because I looked away. Bored to death and out of curiosity, I stood up...
