Stephen Harper is the twenty second and now the prime minister of Canada and leader of conservatives party of Canada .became prime minister after his party won a minority government in January 2006 federal election .harper is the first prime minister of his party scince 1993. stephane Harper first became involved in politics as a member of his high school young liberals club. Then he later changed his political allegiance and then became a chief aide to progressive conservatives in 1986 a few years later he was recommended by the university of Calgary , the founder and leader of the reform party of Canada invited Harper to participate in the party and Harper gave a speech at reforms in 1987 founding convention in Winnipeg .Harper then became the reform party chief policy officer he played a huge role in drafting the election in 1988. Steven harper ran for the Canadian house of commons in 1988 and on the ballot it would show steve Harper . Harper lost by a wide margin to hawks.
Stephen Harper has a huge vision for our country and he under stands that there are global financial crisis so his plan is for balanced budgets, lower taxes, investments to create jobs and keeping inflation low ,lower unemployment rate in 33 years ,more than $37 billion of the nation’s debt paid off ,ect... Harper has many more vision and goals but those are his main one.
The Media tells us that harpers chance of winning this election is because Harper has lots good plan for our country and economy ,they also say that with stepen Harper nothing really will change and that with him running our country that everything will be okay and that we dont have nothing to worry about because Stephen Harper want the best for us and our families ,with him our economy will stay good ,health care ,tackling crime will be improved , and also he will try his best to stop global warming and keep our country in shape and going .
