Renting an apartment is a better option than buying a house. This is a statement that is most likely different for each individual. I believe there are reasons some choose to rent and others and choose to buy. It also depends on the persons situation and how they live their lives, is how one decides whether buying or renting is the best option. I would think for many people renting is not an option, maybe they have to rent and there are numerous advantages to one renting. If a person wants to live in the city where they can be close to everything the rent can be very reasonable and usually older buildings will have larger apartments, which is a good advantage for most people. People who would rather rent an condo, townhouse, or a house the rent is still going to be considerably cheaper than a mortgage when one buys.
Some of the advantages to renting instead of purchasing there are down payments this is usually a percentage of the cost of the home and it could end up costing thousands of dollars, closing cost, and there are fees that have to be paid such as legal council, building inspections, transfers, taxes, and insurances. Other advantages to renting...
