REPORT ON INSURANCE SERVICE
The aim of this report is to investigate the demand and interest in insurance service of the second year students at Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City in the first quarter of 2008.
Demand for insurance service
According to figures from the research, approximate 90% of students have bought insurance, which includes: accident insurance, life insurance, property insurance, health insurance, social insurance and beauty insurance. Among these 6 kinds of insurance, accident insurance takes the leading position, which makes up 35.82% of the total. The second biggest number is life insurance, accounting for 35.06%.
Attitude towards insurance service
It was found that the attitude towards insurance is positive. Up to 82.25% of interviewees think that insurance is essential but the level of satisfaction isn’t perfectly high. In particular, only a handful of students are highly satisfied with the quality of customer service. Apart from that, about 30% is extremely dissatisfied.
There is an obvious question raised for the insurance companies. How to maximize customer satisfaction?
Means of communication such as: advertising on TV, radio, newspapers and Internet has been an efficient way to maintain and enhance the "Prestige", "Reputation" and "Honesty and Integrity" of any insurance companies. Due to the fact that Prudential is the best well- known brand name, it therefore has the loyalty of 92.2% of customers.
Moreover, the level of insurance fee is also an important factor. This would mean that if insurance fee is acceptable, the amount of customers will definitely increase. Nearly 60% of interviewees agree that insurance fee nowadays is at the medium rate.
But for a long-term experience, strong financial capacity and sound reputation for best services with dedicated agents and staff, well-managed operations, it is impossible for any insurance...
