Introduction of the Report:
MBA academic program is the building up of the theoretical knowledge about business administration which is the base of practical knowledge. Making Marketing Research Proposal is an attempt to provide business students an orientation to a real life business situation in which we can observe and evaluate the use and applicability of the theoretical concepts which were taught in the classrooms. As per norm this proposal is the requirement of the honorable course teacher. The purpose of the report is to achieve knowledge of preparing project proposal and to cover the partial assignment of the course. The standard procedures and instructions by our course teacher will be followed to prepare this formal report.

Background of the Research:
Once considered a fancy gadget for the elite, the mobile phone has been transformed into an essential tool for all. Mobile phones are now empowering people from all groups in all areas of Bangladesh.
Grameenphone
Ltd. received its operating license in November 1996 and started its service from March 26, 1997, the Independence Day of Bangladesh. The shareholders established the company realizing the important role telecommunications can play in economic development: Connectivity translates into productivity. They also made a commitment that “Good Development is Good Business”.
Grameenphone is a unique international joint venture between Telenor as (62%), a leading telecommunications company of Norway, and Grameen telecom (38%), a not-for-profit company in Bangladesh, working in close collaboration with the micro-credit pioneers Grameen Bank and Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Nobel peace Price winners in 2006.
