Woodfield Manor Chophouse The Woodfield Manor Chophouse is an independently owned fine dining restaurant. It is part of the Woodfield Manor which is owned by Sundance Vacations, who own a number of resort destinations around the country, but this is the only restaurant that they own. Woodfield Manor is the managed by GM Keith Wolfe and restaurant manager Bob Gibson. Unfortunately I could not arrange a sit down with either person, I did analyze the menu and I can tell you about the great experience we had. Their menu is simply superb. It’s a fine dining menu a tremendous amount of great choices. It defiantly represents the restaurant well. It is layed out very well with plenty of starters and soups and then a more then mouth watering selection of entrées, steaks, chops, salads, and pastas. I asked the server about the menu because it felt really cool and he told me it was made out of ostrich skin. I have never seen a menu more elegantly written then this one. It is so varied and unique its incredible. They have so many different things that I want to try like, elk, crocodile, ostrich, wild boar, and red deer venison. They have so many things on the menu, there is no way you would not want to come back and try something different. The whole experience was outstanding. Everyone provided excellent service, they we re all so friendly. Also the atmosphere was great as well, they had dimmed lights, comfy booths, and the fire place was lit for us. The food tasted terrific. It was a truly memorable experience that I would defiantly recommendto anyone. I also talked to the server about some of their competition and he said there were a few restaurants in the area that were a threat but he didn’t think business would slow down too much. He also talked about how well everyone is trained and how well everyone works together. That I saw for myself.
