Reflections
In the business world, do leaders really understanding what it takes to be an accomplished business owner and prosper to the heights that are desired? Reflecting back on what was learned in this course will be used towards the up building of the business that I desire. Understanding the knowledge of the materials read to teach and empower is an important part of the goals that will be obtained after completing this course. Helping to make changes in a person’s life is valuable and should be used toward positive avenues that are being sought by that individual. This is not just on a personal basis, but in the corporate world also. Educating and empowering people to be the best at what they do and what they can be to the organization they work for are vital to an organization. These will be some of the areas discussed in the following paragraphs.
Responding to change
Change is easy for some and harrowing for others, most people do not realize that change is imperative, when you want anything to grow especially in an organizational setting. In the readings it lets us know that in today’s fast-changing business environment, responsiveness-quickness, agility, the ability to adapt to changing demands- is more vital than ever to a firm’s survival. Trying to deal with change in a positive manner is a good thing; it is good for the individual and for the company. Leaders already know that a change whether it is planned or an emergency change is going to have dubious reactions. We must have change in order to survive.
Leaders in organizations resist change also that is why is important to educate employees or whomever the change is going to effect so they can become comfortable and aware of what is going to be changing and how it will affect them or their department.
