Romeo and Juliet Essay.

I chose the song “Realize” by Colbie Caillat because I thought this was a good song to express Romeo and Juliet’s feelings for each other. Another reason I chose this song was because it says “that we were perfect for each other and we’ll never find another”; which I think means that no matter what the circumstances they should be together. This song also expresses that no matter what they will always be there for each other and they will always love each other. It says, “ we'd never have to wonder if we missed out on each other” saying that they truly are meant to be.

I think this applies to Romeo and Juliet because their families don’t like each other at all, in fact they are enemies. Just one problem, Romeo and Juliet are in love. They don’t care if their families are in love though and they still want to be with each other. Even though they met because Romeo went to the Capulet party. That is when it all started, and in my opinion, it started something pretty wonderful.

I think when they met they automatically fell in love and nothing could stop them from being together. This reminds me of a line in that song, “If you would meet me half way. It could be the same for you.” I think this applies to Romeo and Juliet because since their families are enemies they could meet somewhere just so they could be together. I also think that this line of the song could apply because they can’t really be seen together or else something bad might happen, so they could sneak out to be with each other so no one will find out.

I think the line, “Take time to realize, That I am on your side” is a big similarity to Romeo and Juliet. I think this because they really care about each other and they really want to be together. I also think this because they wanted to get married awfully fast, saying that they just met each other. The first night they met, they got engaged pretty much. I think this says a lot about...
