Same Sex Marriages

In religions such as Catholicism, a marriage is a sacred. In the Catholic Church, there are seven Sacraments. The Sacrament of Holy Matrimony plays a considerable play in your part in your life and is taken serious by the Catholics. The main reason to obtain this sacrament is procreation. A same-sex marriage makes it physically impossible to have a child. Therefore, defeating the purpose to even having children in the first place.
In today’s society, children stumble upon having two fathers and have confusion on the current situation. This would significantly and psychologically affect the child social structure, as well as mental stability and would soon ultimately corrupt the society as we live in. Imagine a child growing up and figures that if his parents are gay, then he can or should be able to. Where would the world be in the future? The children are the future and shouldn’t have his parents pass down their sexual orientation.
Same sex marriages have always had an effect on politics through rights and benefits. The government has been cheated and tricked because many people utilize the excuse “they are gay” so they can have tax deductions and other benefits. There has been even a parody about two friends trying to get benefits. There is a very easy way to eliminate this problem and it’s to ban gay marriages completely to prevent government corruption as well as community.
There are many places of the world where you can form civil unions which is a different terminology use to refer marriages, which the Catholics have no problems with. Unions also give similar benefits and in some countries identical to marriages for couples of the same sex. Even though this method is equal, domestic couples still feel they are being separated. Gay marriages would negatively impact today’s society
