Scary Scavenger Hunt
It was Saturday night, and I had nothing to do. I thought of calling Jessica, Suzie, and maybe a few more people. As I was about to call Jessica; Mekayla calls. Mekayla came up with a wonderful idea. She says, “We should get some people together and have a scavenger hunt.”
“I will call Jessica and Suzie; you call some other people that you know,” I told her. I got done calling Jessica and Suzie and I thought to myself about who is going to set up the scavenger hunt, so I call back Mekayla.
Mekayla says, “I found one that I made up a while ago. We will meet up at my house. It is between you, Jessica, and Suzie against me, Laine, and Kelsey.”
“Ok, sounds good.” I answered. I go and pick up Jessica and Suzie. They are both ready right away, so we get to Mekayla’s house pretty fast.
“Where is Kelsey?” Jessica asked.
“She can’t come anymore so my sister is taking her place,” Mekayla said back.
“Alright”! Jessica exclaimed.
“Let’s get started,” I said
We get into our cars and start the hunt. The first thing on our list was to find a perfectly conditioned Sand Dollar. We pull up to the beach and see a man sitting by himself on the bench. We aren’t sure if we want to go on the beach, but we know it will be fun. We got out of the car and start looking. Immediately Suzie yells, “I found one!”
Jessica and I walk over to Suzie and all I see in her hand is a clam. I laugh hysterically and say, “That isn’t a Sand Dollar.”
“A Sand Dollar is a round, flat, and smooth shell like thing with a star in the middle,” Jessica tells her.”
We walk back our spots and keep looking. Twenty minutes pass by and none of us could find anything. “Let’s move down the beach a little ways,” I said frustrated
We moved down the beach and started looking again. I find a bunch of Sand Dollars, but they are all broken. As I am looking I feel like someone is behind me so I look behind me and nobody’s there. I turn back...
