Introduction
According to Mullins (2013), management is one of most important aspects lead to the success of every company. As a necessary part of organisation, management is seemed a set of operations with target of achievement in an efficient production. Management may also be seemed as a progress to uphold an environment in which each employee will work together in groups to obtain efficient selected targets (Koontz and Weihrich 1990). When social organisations were established to complete targets and objectives what could not complete as individuals, management appeared as necessary to make sure the combination of individual attempts. By the time, social organisations are expanding larger and more complex, duty of managers have become more important and crucial in management of complex incorporations.

Indeed, to get high labour achievement in production, improve work environment and many other aspects, scientific management was used as important role industrial field which was developed by F.W. Taylor in 20th Century. However, everything always changed over time and Taylor’s principle cannot bring satisfactory of modern life. The method of management contains weaknesses that limitation effects to work environment. As a result, it could not be applied to all of modern organisations. This essay will discuss both positive and negative aspects of Scientific Management as well as applications of its in modern organisational life in 21st century.
