For the thousands of evolution human society achieved remarkable results in all the areas of its activities from technology to culture. However the initial stage of the evolution was the period when Homo sapiens. At that time animals were one of the most important sources of food, clothes, and equipment. After thousands of years agriculture was discovered. However a cattle breeding was not rejected as the area of activities. Moreover, after industrial revolution people found other ways to use animals in for their own benefit. Some people say that human beings have gone too far in the use of animals and that for the reasons of humaneness this usage should be replaced by other substitutes. From my point of view, those followers are mistaken in their statements. The use of animals should be continued by people.
It has been argued that the practice of using animals as the material for the development of different drugs and medicines contradicts to the concerns of humaneness. The followers of this idea state that people are intelligent creatures and the thing differentiating them from animals is their kindness and compassion. However it should be kept in mind that nowadays while trying to protect the animals’ rights people can not effectively deal even with the problem the slavery worldwide. Moreover, while lobbying ban of usage of animals for medicine people are considering human cloning, which is completely contradictive to the humanity concerns.
