 TITLE : SHOULD CIGARETTES BE ILLEGAL
According to Dictionary.com cigarettes means a cylindrical rolls of finely cut tobacco cured for smoking, considerably smaller than most cigars and usually wrapped in thin white paper. Smoking cigarettes should be banned. There is no reconciliation for someone who smokes. They are playing a serious game with life, every time one takes a puff of a cigarettes. It conveys with a lot of issues not only for a smokers but people around them also effected. Cigarettes should be illegal because of many factors such as health risks, wasting money and it can reduced athletic performance.
There are thousands sense why cigarettes should be illegal. The exposure it has to human health is one of the reasons. Smoking has been shown to be dangerous to health. All the disease such as lung cancer, heart disease, and respiratory disease can be linked. Smoking will not show its effects in a short of time but it takes a few years to occur. Your lungs will be damage if you inhale more tobacco smoke. In fact, it can be more risky to a passive smoker who inhales the smoke from the active smoker.
Besides that, cigarettes also make someone waste their money. Smoking can cause addiction to someone who smoke and chances they want to smoke again is high. If this happen, smoker will use their money to buy a box or two of cigarette every day to satisfy their addiction. Smokers who has a family will surely neglect some of family’s commitment just to fulfil their desire by spending more money on it. This will effected the family members and can cause internal problems in the family.
Last but not least, smoking will causes athletic performance of the athlete not good. One of the effects of smoking on sports execution is reducing in lung function.
