I can make a clear description of silliness by describing a real story of one of my cousins. Silliness is a natural phenomenon which more or less all of us do. Silliness means showing a lack of thoughts or judgment, otherwise can be said as foolishness. Last year in September, the construction work of our building had just finished. As my birthday was coming, my family decided to celebrate a get together at our new house. We decided to get there a day early and do some decorations work for the party. The construction work was done but still some of the electric wiring work was remaining. Some of my cousins had also arrived to help us. It was at noon when some of us were busy gossiping and cooking lunch, one of cousins, Aminul, was decorating our rooms with flowers, ribbons and balloons. He was a village boy and talked little and was very shy. While tying the balloons in our drawing room, he saw some extra electric cables hanging on the walls. He thought those were some extra wires which are doing nothing but hampering the look of the room. So, without asking anyone he decided to cut them off. He took a knife and went to cut those wires off the walls. When he was cutting the cables, some point his knife touched both the negative and positive end of the wires he got a huge shock and screamed very loudly. Every one in the house ran to see what had happened there and saw Aminul lying on the floor. When we asked him what had happened, he told us the story. At first we were astonished and then all of us started laughing realizing what a foolish work he had done. Aminul understood his silliness and was feeling very shy. Then we cheered him up. The incident was really serious, but whenever I think of it, I can not do anything but laugh.
