I intend to use the skills I learn at Colorado Technical University online by first helping my mother. Since my mother was the one was encourage me to go back to school. My mother who has three children herself knows how hard it is to get by in the world without a college education. She has always told me that with a college education you will be able to make good money and get things you want when you want them. Also she said in this time in age having a degree is the best thing you can do for a better further. So with these skills I will be able to get a good job and help my mom get debit free.
The second person who would benefit would be my son. My son who is depending on his mother is a single parent. So by being a single mother I’m the one who have to show him that education is the key to a better further. I don’t want him to have to struggle as I have. So by me getting the skills my son will know the ups and downs of not having an education and having an education background.
I hope that these skills I will be able to get a good paying job. By getting the job I will be to be able to volunteer more. I have always wanted to help out at the Christian Misters. They do so much for people who can’t afford to just go out and buy things they need at times. I want to help others as the Christian Misters has helped me in the past. I know in the past they help with paying some bills. Without them I would not have made it with a new born. I am so thankful for having them.
I would then volunteer with Goodwill. Goodwill is a great place to learn a trade. So volunteering with would be great. I went to one of their classes. I know by going to the class it help me out with learning how to conduct yourself during an interview. They help the community by selling clothes and other things that are donation to them. By doing so they are able to have classes to help people with finding a new career.
