smoking during meal hours in the navy

Today I’m going to talk to you about smoking during the meal hours. As a cs we are expected to uphold the highest standards of sanitation on the ship. During the meal hours no matter how stressful they may be no matter how long and drawn out it can be at times and even when its so slow you could probably knit a sweater you must not smoke or leave the galley for any reason whatsoever. One may ask why? Why is that a rule? The true full answer is just because your chain of command said so. I would argue that it’s a potential sanitation hazard, however so are bowel movements. With hot and soapy water for a minimum of 20 seconds (to keep track of time you can sing happy birthday twice in your head). You need to scrub underneath your nails and lather all the way up to your forearm. You will finish by rinsing and drying your hands and forearms with a clean paper towel and if hand sanitizer is available follow up with hand sanitizer. For the ward room galley which is a significantly smaller space and requires much less manning; you have three fsa, two cook on watch and a galley supervisor. According to the American cancer society to quote exactly (somewhat fewer than1 in every 5) adults currently smoke cigarettes. So it is...
