VET VIP day for the Bachelor of Nursing

The VET VIP day will consist of five sessions designed to give you an exclusive head start at UWS. A sneak peak of the valuable information you’ll get out of each session is below.
The necessities of nursing (Bachelor of Nursing)
Come and learn what it means to be a nursing student at UWS and why our graduates are in high demand. We have a long tradition of students coming into our course with a VET qualification. We understand your needs and are committed to helping you succeed. This session will highlight some of the differences between TAFE/private college studies and university. We’ll let you know our expectations and provide some tips for settling into university life. You will also have the opportunity to meet academics who will be available for questions and current UWS nursing students who will speak about their experiences.
Administration answers (Academic Registrar’s Office)
This session is all about taking the ‘aaahhhhhhh!’ out of administration and make your life as a student a little bit easier. If you have a question about how to apply, how much university will cost, HECS, how to enrol and when your classes will be, we have the answer. This session has all the details you need for a smooth transition into university so you can concentrate on your degree.
Learning the library (UWS Library)
In this lively Q & A session we will show you how the amazing resources of the UWS Library can open up a world of information to you. We will answer all your questions and share our top tips for research and success as a student.
