Knowledge is power. We get knowledge from many sources such as Books, News papers, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Television, Radio and Internet.
Books give us a vast knowledge. We learn many things from books. We learn about our country and other countries. We read about things that we never seen or heard before. Library is the place where we can get books for free to improve our knowledge. When we are free, we can spend our time with books in the Library. There are books for all ages. The fairy tales delighted us in our childhood. From that also we learnt many things that are useful for our life. Each religion has its own books too. Books and Knowledge are inseparable in our life.
News paper is another source of knowledge. They bring us news of most things that are happening around the world. There are lots of things in a news paper that are useful for students like us. We can improve our knowledge by reading news papers.
The encyclopedias and dictionaries also give us knowledge. A dictionary mainly provides the meaning and definition, but an encyclopedia gives a complete summary of information.
Television and Radio also helps us to improve our knowledge. There are many things in TV and Radio that could be useful in our life. We can get wise knowledge of everything from Television and Radio.
Internet is the best one among the sources of knowledge. We can get all in the Internet. It’s of very recent origin. However the influence on society is immeasurable. It’s easy accessible to everyone.
Around us we have many sources of knowledge. It’s our duty to make use of them.
