You have told us repeatedly to have one window closed and the other tilted open on the top to be dress right dress. My roommate and myself have failed to follow the standard that you have put out in formation time and time again. You have also told us that there would be some very large consequences for not following these orders. Now my roommate and myself are paying for our inability to follow orders by spending our time off writing a five page essay on the importance of following orders. In this essay I will explain how important it is to follow all orders no matter how big or small the orders given are. When you get deployed down range weather it be Iraq or Afghanistan if you disobey even the smallest order you could put everyone and the mission into jeopardy. If your team leader tells you not to let any vehicles into the convoy and you let one in they could have a bomb in the car. They could detonate the bomb and kill soldiers and split the convoy in half making everyone else in the convoy sitting ducks to be in a fire fight that could cost more lives than should be lost due to not following orders. This could also be avoided by not leaving any gaps between vehicles to keep cars from being able to fit between the trucks. Another example of the importance of following orders would be not locking your door in the barracks. You could fall asleep with the door unlocked and someone could come in to your room to steal from you. They could also do harm to you while you are still sleeping. Even during the day someone could come in your room and harm you and steal from you. This could all be avoided by just locking your door every time you go in or out of your room. Or keeping your room up to standards is another issue it could seriously effect your roommates health and your own by cause mold in the air or filth in the showers and on the floors both your roommate and you could become seriously ill.
