Eating Breakfast, Why it is Important To You.
You wake up and oh man, what’s that feeling? It feels like your stomach is caving in and wait, your body recognizes this feeling – you’re hungry. Starving actually. Oh no, you check your time source and realize that you only have twenty minutes to get to school so it’s either this: you check your Facebook really quick or you grab an apple and a bottle of water. However, not many people think about grabbing that apple which is bad because eating breakfast can be one of the most important things you will do in the morning.
A lot of young people especially high schoolers like yourselves; go though the day without eating breakfast in the morning. Many people believe that eating breakfast is not necessary, or they say that they don’t have time for it, and begin their day with no meal. I believe that everyone should eat breakfast before going to school or to any activities in that matter, because not only does breakfast help your body but it also gives you energy to power through to the afternoon. The purpose of my speech is to convince you of the importance of breakfast and why you should never chose to skip it.
The first and number one reason why students should eat breakfast before going to school is for their health. When you skip breakfast and go to school, you are putting yourself at greater risk to pick up a disease, and no one wants that. So it is extremely important to have a meal and not let your stomach work empty. By choosing to not eat breakfast you have a higher risk of getting diseases such as gastritis, depression, and also face many problems with your overall health. To avoid these diseases all you need to do is eat some breakfast in the morning, pretty simple right? If you continue to skip breakfast and not eat then you are going to get sick or put a lot of strain on your body.
