Statement of Purpose
The greatest wealth one can acquire in life is to equip oneself with knowledge. Learning and education helps us to understand the various facets of life and prepares one to face the challenges lying ahead.
I do believe that it would be my privilege if I am given a chance to pursue my undergraduate studies in the United Kingdom as I’ve heard about the high calibre of the educational system especially in Business fields.
I, Saniya Gupta am currently pursuing secondary school education in the science stream. The curriculum in my school encourages extracurricular activities alongside academics to bring out the overall development of the student. I have always excelled in academics and have had the privilege of being in the top 10% of the class. My teachers and friends would describe me as a hardworking, sincere and well disciplined student .My strong abilities include a strong analytical ability, willingness to experiment and a flexible and innovative approach. As a part of the studies we have to research and work independently on various projects in diverse topics like in-depth industry research and environmental studies. We have to submit these presentations in a professional manner which has taught me not only good researching and presentation skills but also a good understanding of the real issues facing the world today.
Apart from the academics, I have had the opportunity to actively participate in many sports, dramatics and music competitions with distinction, winning medals for my house and school. I have the privilege of being selected as the vice captain of my house in the final year. The process of organising, guiding and leading the students has helped me develop a better understanding of managerial and leadership skills.
