There are several ways in which ethics affect statistics to which the information can be unethical. They can include data not reflective of the population, intentional introduction of biases, not providing enough detail or specifics in the data, and hypothesis does not fit the observations. Tom reviews the concept of “Pygmalion in the Classroom”. Teachers were told that some of their students, who were selected at random, would “bloom” in the upcoming year.
