Rich Philippines

The Philippines is one of the richest countries when it comes to culture and traditions. In fact it can be seen through our different fiestas like the Moriones, Antipolo Pilgrimage, Santa Cruzan, Ati-Atihan, Pahiyas, Panagbengga and many more. It can also be seen through the different characteristics like the hospitality, the “bayanihan”, kissing the hands of elders, conservativeness and others. The different rituals during weddings, death of a love one, birthdays etc. really express the colorful traditions. The different clothes also express the rich culture of the Filipino natives. . It can also be seen through the creativity of the Filipinos especially when it comes to art, the different dances, songs for different occasions, the pottery, the tattoos and many more. The food also express the rich culture like in the Mindanao area, some of them don’t eat pork because it is part of their belief. Also there is a food specialty for every place in the Philippines that shows the characteristic of that specific place. All of those things show the richness of the culture and tradition of the Philippines.
