Technological tools provided by Axia College are very useful. The audio resources assist in the classroom like learning experience. I am a hands-on learner so; having this tool is very good for me. The tools that I have used so far are the audio appendixes, the digital stories as well as the tutorials.
The option to download readings in an audio format improves the quality of my educational experience. I am an on-the-go person and I always have my Blackberry with me. Being able to download some of my class material to my Blackberry allows me to learn and do my coursework while I am out and about. Being able to access my coursework through audiovisual material excites me to know that I can read while I am working out amongst other activities.
The audiovisual aspect of the University of Phoenix virtual classroom help me learn by allowing me to view the scenarios that we are discussing as I would be able to in a face-to-face setting. This eliminates some of the intimidation and anxiety that online courses sometime bring. The audiovisual tools are something that I will definitely use on a regular basis.
Bringing the type of technology into the virtual college experience definitely enhances our learning experience. This technology allows us to feel more like we are in a classroom atmosphere. Those of who are returning to school after being out for quite a number of years will appreciate this audiovisual experience. This allows us to multitask and still be able to achieve our goals while living a very busy life.
The “My Learning Resources” tab on the homepage when you log into your account is where most of the resources are available. Under “Tools and Tutorials”, there are plenty of options such as the Library and Center for Writing Excellence (CWE) to name a few. The library option is a real online library.
