Although I earned a degree of Ba. of Civil Engineering, it is Architectural Engineering Technology that I wish to pursue in more depth. I believe a diploma degree in Architectural Technology will build on my understanding of critical thinking and architectural design skills as well as visual communication skills. Housing design, analyzing sites, testing designs have to operate within a real job, and I have been lucky enough to work on a timber house design group of Gouvis Engineering Company Vietnam. I gained an insight into the real architectural engineering design during a housing project in Saigon South new urban. I realize that to apply my technical knowledge and engineering design skills effectively, I need to understand aspects of architectural technology as part of my knowledge’s furthering and my advancing career.
In the long term, I plan to improve my engineering design in consideration with specifications of architectural technology. Moreover, my company have developed its corporation in both local and international areas, particular American clients in residential development. Despite my experience in timber housing design, I still lack important knowledge in architectural design, especially in building codes, energy conservation laws and aesthetic requirements as well as American environmental issues. Since pursuing career program in architectural technology will be an opportunity to widen my knowledge of the subject, it is essential that I fulfill my interests and love of the subject.
I am attracted by the uniqueness and creation of architectural technology program, and believe the completed training course in OCC will build on my mind of discipline thinking and entry level in architectural design.
