It is significant to have a strategic preparation so that a business would flourish and reach success. Strategies are always changing over time, so it is also necessary for plans to be modified so that the business could remain significant and still marketable while continuing to achieve the business goals. Many have witnessed businesses that once flourished in the industry but eventually failed because of not formulating a business plan that maintains the demand of the consumers will be satisfied (QuickMBA, 2011). For instance, it was found out that a well-known software businesses have been disregarding the mobile market, but today, the smart phone era has become widespread, so now these businesses have to make up for the time they lost. The same is applicable to any business like the medical industry.
The Community South Medical Center (CSMC) is a great environment for health treatments of almost any sickness. Their facilities and programs include the following services but not limited to neurosurgery center, pulmonary services and a main trauma center. Though their business is already ahead in all aspects of the medical industry, they still experienced company problems when prominent and big companies near them began departing from the place they were once located. The reasons are not sure, but the companies probably accepted another offer from other places or competition hindered them from progressing there. Still, the fact remains that the customer group was changing and the need for updated staff was causing a problem. CSMC needs to amend the strategic plan of the organization that was formulated over three years ago.
