Title: System Analysis to Design

1. Introduction
Riordan manufacturing requested for IT consultancy services from Team 3 IT Consultant Group regarding the expansion of their Information systems expansion program. The primary objective of the expansion proposal was to assist Riordan in determining the feasibility of implementing anew system as opposed to expanding the existing IT System. In addition Riordan requested consultancy services on Analysis and design as well as financial feasibility analysis of implementing the proposed IT Systems expansion project. Team 3 IT Consultant Group conducted a feasibility study of Rordan’s current IT Systems Infrastructure to understand the company’s information systems needs that were documented in a feasibility report. The feasibility report outlines all aspects related to Riordan’s Information System expansion. It is therefore based on this feasibility report that this paper will attempt to explore and analyze its contents to ascertain its level of accuracy.
The system analysis phase will seek to establish the system users and their requirements, what the proposed new system will accomplish, as well as where and when it will be used. It’s during this phase that the project team will evaluate and investigate the feasibility report in order to identify areas of improvement and besides develop a concept for proposed 6ME company’s new system. The analysis phase for this project will be accomplished through three phases: analysis strategy, requirements gathering and project proposal.[1]
1.2 Reasons for Analysis and Systems Scope
The need for expanding the company’s Information system Infrastructure came about due to the company’s regional growth and expansion strategy that saw the company open two secondary locations.
